The Parts of this Prophecy are two:

 


I.  An accusation against the people on account of their want of zeal for the divine honor, Chapters 1-3:  in which are:

1.  The Prologue:  chapter 1:1-5.

2.  An accusation on account of their

a.  Sacrifices not offered in faith:  chapter 1:6-14.

b.  Contempt of the Divine covenant and law:  chapter 2.

c.  Prejudgment of the deferring of the day of the Lord:  chapter 3.


II.  A denunciation of the day of the Lord’s coming, Chapter 4.
