[1] William Sclater (1575-1626) was an English churchman. He also commented on Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, 1 and 2 Thessalonians.
[2] Richard Stock (1569-1626) was an English Puritan churchman. He studied under William Whitaker, befriended Thomas Gataker, and pastored John Milton.
[3] Samuel Torshell (1604-1650) was a Puritan theologian and churchman. Torshell’s Exercitation upon the same Prophesie of Malachy is appended to Stock’s Learned and very usefull Commentary upon the whole Prophesie of Malachy.
