The Parts of the Prophecy are:
I. The sins and punishments of the people, Chapters 1:1-3:8: in which is:
1. A denunciation of general judgment: chapter 1:1-3.
2. Of particular judgment against:
a. The Jews, against whom,
α. Destruction is denounced: chapter 1:4-18
β. Repentance is urged: chapter 2:1-3.
b. The nations: chapter 2:4-15.
3. A denunciation of final judgment: chapter 3:1-8.
II. Promise concerning the Kingdom of Christ, Chapter 3:9-20.
